Trader Joe's Sets Opening Date For New CT Store Trader Joe's has announced the opening date for its new location in Connecticut.  The grocery store chain said the ribbon-cutting for the new store in the Hartford County town of Glastonbury will be held at 8 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2. The store, located at 400 Hebron Ave., will be the chain's ninth location in the state. Trader Joe's said hiring efforts for the Glastonbury store are currently underway.
