Allegiant Adds Premium Seating As Airlines Push More Upscale Options
Allegiant Air is adding first-class seats to some planes as the budget carrier expands its premium options. The Las Vegas-based airline will introduce Allegiant First on select planes beginning in spring 2027, the company announced in a news release. The new cabin will include eight seats arranged two-by-two at the front of the plane. Each seat will have a five-inch recline, calf rests, an adjustable headrest, and more legroom with a 37-inch seat pitch. A 44-year-old Haddon Heights man admitted to sexually abusing a 3-year-old girl, authorities announced Wednesday, Aug. 5. In Feb. 2025, law enforcement were notified of photos and videos on Jason Anderson's cell phone depicting him sexually abusing a 3-year-old, who was a relative, Camden County Prosecutor Grace MacAulay said. A home in Pennington was heavily damaged in a fire on Tuesday morning, Aug. 4, authorities said. At 5 a.m., firefighters responded to the house fire while a volunteer firefighter in Hopewell Valley, who lives adjacent to the property alerted and assisted all 14 occupants out of the residence as the fire began extending toward the occupied dwelling, the Pennington Fire Company said.
